This was a fast enjoyable read. Love books like this one. Keep publishing you captured me. Plus I live in the middle of nowhere Wyoming also.
Loved it the story was so moving I felt Laney's pain sadness and happiness at the end felt like I was losing a friend LOL
I could not put this book down. I started it before bed one evening and suddenly it was 430am and the book was finished. The characters have so much more depth than most you find in this genre and the story is so relatable.
I'm not the target audience, in fact, this is the first romance novel I've ever read, which didn't include ghosts, time-travel, fairies, vampires, or werewolves. I was hooked after chapter one. I had to know how Laney's summer would end. The pacing and style where perfect and kept me reading page after page. I thoroughly enjoyed this e-book.

I set out to read this book in support of my long time friend, Rachel B. I quickly lost myself in the characters and saw my teenage self in Laney. I adored every character and Rachel's development of them. I ate this book right up. Great descriptions of certain scenes and of course I'm partial to the scene being a Montana native!!!
I gave this book 4 big stars, because I know Rach is a young writer and her stuff is only going to get better! Thanks, Kelvin, for letting Rachel write this and live her dream! She has a bright future!
Well, maybe it is her first book but it was awesome! Funny and sad, delightful and thought-provoking. I read Someone Else's Summer first but I have to say I will be following Rachel Bateman for years to come. Excellent author.
