A very pleasant read. Kenneth has a good grasp of the lifestyle of the later frontier. As an aside, at that period, Alice Texas was the southern tip of the Ft.Worth Tarrantula, and set in a sea of Johnson grass. As such, it became a larger cattle drive destination than Dodge.
Good story, well written (good grammar, etc.), almost believable for a bigger than life western tale. All was as it should have been. I enjoyed it and recommend it. Was a fast read at a very good price.
Rourke and Sara is very entertaining. There is plenty of action. I liked the characters. Especially Sara, who is one feisty woman.
